MBMO #1 Video: Dates from Marty’s Life

The Marty Brown Memorial™ events serve to both remember Marty Brown, a Revere’s Riders instructor, and to raise money and awareness for ovarian cancer, the disease that took Marty from us much too soon.

Each participant at Marty Brown Memorial events receives an envelope with a date written on it. The date corresponds to a significant time in Marty’s life; Phil Brown, Marty Brown Memorial Event Director, will call out a random date whereupon the holder of that envelope opens it and reads a short passage describing the meaning of that date to Marty. Afterwards, the participant chooses another envelope at random which contains the “give-away” they receive for attending the event.
