About Rick

Rick is a former Appleseed and CMP instructor, and will be teaching basic rifle and field rifle classes with Revere’s Riders. He enjoys just about any discipline involving a rifle, from 3-gun to highpower shoots (worst day on the range beats any day in the office). Holding multiple healthcare related degrees, Rick is happy to have retired from the field and is currently volunteering with worthy non-profits. He is also a former grunt, having served as both a Marine reservist and Army National Guardsman. Descended from old world refugees dating back to pilgrim times and since, Rick appreciates the relative freedoms we as Americans today enjoy, appreciates the sacrifices of those who made those freedoms possible, and actively passes along the knowledge to those who may not realize it is their and their descendant’s birthright.  A New Englander thru family roots, and with plenty of detours along the way, Rick currently hangs his hat in southeast Wyoming and is wondering why it took him so long to get there!
