Have you ever wondered what it would be like to fire a rifle chambered in .50 BMG? Several participants at the 2020 Marty Brown Memorial Open Round #1 found out exactly what that was like when they sent rounds downrange from a Barrett M82A1 rifle.
Revere’s Riders would like to thank Bradley “Slim” Settle for providing us with his personal Barrett M82A1 along with over 50 rounds of .50 BMG ammunition.
We had additional “exotic” rifles on the line as well:
- .338 Lapua (thanks to Alan Alcorn)
- M1 Garand (thanks to TJ Kackowski)
- Suppressed 300 BLK (thanks to John “Hop” Hopkins)
Let us know if you like the ability to get behind unusual or exotic firearms at our events (email president@reveresriders.org) and we will do our best to include this option at other events in the future.
