Huzzah! What a great weekend at the Clark County Shooting Complex. Last month, we had a packed line of students ready to learn about rifle marksmanship, American history and civic engagement. Saturday began with an overview of basic rifle fundamentals.
We then welcomed two of our newest volunteers, Afsheen and Michael, who did a great job on their assistant rifle instructor upgrades.
On Sunday, we had time to work back to the 100 yard line and learn about known distance and gathering “data on our personal equipment” or DOPE. In the photo below, a volunteer helps a student calculate DOPE from a group fired at distance.
Overall this was a great weekend. Thanks to all of our volunteers who came out! As always we appreciate the great facilities provided by the Clark County Shooting Complex. Congratulations to our students who were all safe and shooting great all weekend!
